Our History

A Leading Industrial & Manufacturing Company, Serving Since 1997.

In 1997 Carl Unwin & Sons started the production of modular conveyors from their home garage. A combination of passion for technology, successful installations and repeat business through the building of valuable customer relationships, driven from the focus of “clearly understanding our customer’s needs” saw rapid growth and the need to expand.

The following years were spent building the business and developing our product range with the aim of supplying “the complete automation package”. This passion to learn, grow and reinvest in our employees and future technologies enabled LAC to naturally gain a foothold in our core industries of Logistics, Food and Bespoke Automation.

Today LAC operates from its 70,000 ft2, Nottingham facility and employs over 140 multiskilled specialists providing their experience, expertise and dedication, generating a revenue of £30m in the fiscal year 2020/2021.

LAC Logistics Automation maintains this passion and vision, giving us the motivation in continuous learning, customer focus, and growth, to ensure we deliver leading technological solutions again and again.
